Fortnite is in Season 1 Chapter 4 and players have received a new island, characters, weapons, fresh mechanics and other items. This is one such popular battle royale that never ceases to amaze gamers with its appeal and wide range of collaborations (some even claim the game is addictive). The game also boasts a huge variety of skins that are available in the in-game store. Lately, Fortnite players have had high hopes for being able to create their own skins. Perhaps character customization will become available with the release of the upcoming Creative 2.0 creative mode.

Recently, Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney responded to a tweet from a user asking if skin customization is planned for Creative 2.0. The developer responded ambiguously: “Well, yes, but not very soon.” Fans are left alone with this short answer, and can only guess and discuss when and in what form this feature will appear.

Perhaps only creative mode players will be able to create their own skins. With Creative 2.0, Fortnite’s creative mode is getting a major update. This will give players noticeably more freedom to build whatever they want in Fortnite. It looks like Fortnite will enter a new era with the advent of Unreal Editor. And now, a tweet from Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney hints at the possibility that players will be able to create custom skins and test them with the upcoming Creative 2.0.
