With a new CoD game currently in development, the crossover hype is at an all-time high. However, there is no official information from Activision Blizzard yet. However, dataminers declarethat cooperation will take place in December 2023, so there is still enough time for an official statement.
According to current information, the fourth chapter will end in December this year, and the fifth will begin. And since Epic Games likes to have a big collaboration at the start of every chapter, this would be perfect for a crossover with Call of Duty. But here a fair question arises: “What will they add?” In addition to equipment and cosmetic items, there is always the opportunity to add weapons from the Call of Duty franchise to Fortnite. It has a lot of, probably, recognizable guns, which are not enough in the royal battle. It is also possible to create a thematic map in the new editor using the Unreal Editor.
