User iFireMonkey, who regularly reports on Fortnite content prior to its announcement, suggested that the game would tie into the popular BBC sci-fi show.
The two-week event will coincide with the show’s 60th anniversary celebrations starting later this year, he said.
The item shop will feature 2 skins, 2 pickaxes, 1 glider and 1 emote.
iFireMonkey also posted a photo of what appears to be a very early version of the event tab in the in-game menu.
The menu contains references to the TARDIS and UNIT, both from the long-running sci-fi series.
Fortnite has partnered with several major brands over the years, including Star Wars, Dragonball Z, and more.
It is not yet clear if this event will be as deep as some other brand events. For example, various Star Wars co-op events have added lightsabers as special weapons to the game. According to the report, it looks like this event will focus more on the creative game mode, though how that will play out is still unclear.
