The popular online game Fortnite features a highly developed creative mode that allows gamers to create individual projects and entire worlds. This incredible freedom of the players clearly did not like the boss at Activision. The company is actively pursuing Fortnite Creative content creators and removing their work, alleging copyright infringement.

Fortnite Creative recently released a map that recreates zombie mode in an urban environment from the Call of Duty series. The user’s work was far from complete, but showed off the possibilities of Fortnite’s creative mode early on. No one will see the final result of the creation, Activision has removed the work from the public domain. Players also noticed that the company is pursuing other maps that are similar to Call of Duty.

In social networks, users negatively assessed this behavior of Activision. Gamers accuse the company of misusing copyright law. In addition, it sets a precedent for other studios that can influence the publication of maps in Fortnite’s creative mode.
