On Twitter, two popular Fortnite leakers have jointly confirmed reports that Chapter 4 of Season 2, set to launch in the coming days, will feature a crossover with the Resident Evil series.

This collaboration will coincide (well, almost) with the launch of the Resident Evil 4 remake, which will feature Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield was his co-star in the Resident Evil 2 remake – and these are characters that will reportedly appear in Fortnite when Season 2 launches.

Leaks and rumors are popping up faster and faster as Season 2 approaches, as a brand new Battle Pass means new skins, missions, and tons of collaborations. In the past few weeks, players have been able to enjoy the arrival of Geralt from The Witcher in Fortnite.

A little earlier, information appeared, according to which the game will host a special Fortnite x Attack on Titan crossover. It is expected to be the mainstay of the next season, and the game will take on a “futuristic Japanese” theme for a limited time.

Now, those same insiders have revealed that they have received exclusive information revealing an upcoming Resident Evil collaboration that will bring Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy to the game.

It’s not yet known how much the new Resident Evil set will cost in the item shop and exactly when it will go on sale, but both HYPEX and ShiinaBR (on Twitter) have a fantastic track record when it comes to Fortnite insider information.

The current chapter of Fortnite ends on March 8, with the next one expected to start a few days later.
