Chapter 4 Season 2 is called “Mega” – Provides Japanese Sci-Fi
According to the leakers, the new season 2 is called “Mega” and is said to play in a Japanese sci-fi setting. Colorful and bright neon lights as well as futuristic atmospheres should welcome the players in Season 2. Basically like Chapter 1 Season 9 after the volcano eruption.
Fans are said to have deciphered the Japanese lettering and come up with the name “The Streets” or “Downtown”. In addition, another lettering was posted with the title of the new season, which should be called “Mega”.
When is the release? The official release of Chapter 4 Season 2 is dated Epic Games on March 8th, 2023. However, it is not certain whether the developers will stick to it, because in the past release dates have often been postponed or brought forward. So it may well be that Epic Games could even postpone the release to March 9th or 10th.
The time is not yet known, but we assume that the servers could go offline in the evening and online the next morning.
Is there a live event? Leakers have often been able to dig up files for live events in the past. However, no signs of a live event were spotted in the final patch of Season 1. But it could be that Epic Games is planning an introductory event like in Chapter 2 Season 6. Various cutscenes and a mission are then played in this, which fans can control themselves.
