Server down for patch 23.30 – All important information in German

New Reality Augments: Fortnite is still deep in Season 1 and that’s why there are 5 new reality extensions for you with the following buffs:

• Schildriss – Whenever your shields break, you will be rifted into the air with a short delay.
• Shadowdoers – Gain a chance to find Shadow Bombs through eliminations and in containers.
• Icy slide party – After sliding, you will get a freezing speed boost for a short time.
• field cutsr – Foliage you destroy drops bush bombs and instant items. Additionally increases the effectiveness of used instant items.
• Mythic Ammo – Obtain a Mythic Pistol.

Weekly tasks will be adjusted: With the release of Chapter 4 Season 1, players had to rush their weekly quests. When a new week started, the old ones disappeared and were then replaced by new ones.

Epic Games has now stamped that out. Players who cannot complete their weekly tasks due to time constraints can still complete them until the end of Season 1.

Other updates:

• Wind Tunnels will be disabled in Battle Royale/Null Build during v.23.30.
• Adjusted the Storm Prediction reality augment to only show the next three eyes of the storm after it is selected, instead of showing all future eyes of the storm.

Competition Notes:

• The Kamehame Ha and Jindujun (Kintoun) items are not available in Competitive game modes.
• The Shield Rupture reality augmentation is not available in Competitive game modes.
• The FNCS Major 1 starts on February 2nd

Major Bug Fixes in Battle Royale:

• Guardian Shield now blocks the Dekus Smash ability.
• Fixed an issue that caused the Flight Lesson reality augment to be temporarily disabled. This reality enhancement is now enabled again.
• Fixed some movement related bugs.
• Players who own the Battle Pass and unlocked the Noble Cloak back bling prior to v.23.20 will now receive the back bling.
• The physics of the cloak on the Red Joni outfit should work correctly.
• Battle Hound and Vulcan Battle Hound outfits have their helmets displayed correctly.
• Players can use emotes again after an epic win.
• Players no longer take fall damage when sliding and using the Shockwave Hammer.
• On touch devices, the falcon drone will no longer move up or down without players touching a button.

Fortnite: Server Down – When and how long are they offline?

This is the downtime in the morning: According to Epic Games, the servers are expected to be shut down at 10:00 a.m. German time to install a hotfix. Matchmaking is already disabled 30 minutes beforehand, so you won’t be able to search for new rounds after 9:30 a.m.

When can you play again? This is a relatively large update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games could restart the servers at 11 a.m. or at 12 p.m. But that is not confirmed.

What content could come with update 23.30?

Epic Games reveals little to no new information about upcoming content before a new update. Trusted leakers like Shiina have been keeping an eye on the data that’s been hidden for a long time and know roughly what players can expect. This time you can expect the following items:

However, there is no guarantee that this content is actually in the update. Should there be any issues, Epic Games could scrap some of it and only release select content. But that was very rare in the past.
