Today, April 11th, Fortnite servers are going down on all platforms (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The maintenance work will be used to load the 24.20 update onto the servers.
What’s happening in Fortnite today? Epic Games is shutting down the servers for Season 2 Chapter 4. The update is likely to prepare things related to Attack on Titan, the latest anime collaboration.

Fortnite: Server Down – When and how long are they offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: According to Epic Games, the servers are expected to be shut down at 9:00 a.m. German time to install a hotfix. Matchmaking is already disabled 30 minutes beforehand, so you won’t be able to search for new rounds after 8:30 a.m.
When can you play again? This is a major update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games could restart the servers at 11:00 a.m. or even at 1:00 p.m. But that is not confirmed.
When are the patch notes coming? Epic Games usually posts a short list of patch notes on their site after the update. If that happens, we will list them briefly and clearly for you here.
What content could come with update 24.20?
Epic Games reveals little to no new information about upcoming content before a new update. Trusted leakers like Shiina have been keeping an eye on the data that’s been hidden from ordinary users for a long time and know roughly what to expect this time. You can count on the following things:
