Looks like another superhero crossover is planned for Fortnite. Epic Games’ free-to-play battle royale may once again get Spider-Man, but this time it won’t be the Peter Parker version. The developers of the game posted on social networks a very direct hint that Miles Morales from the Spider-Man: Web of Universes cartoon will be added to Fortnite.
Epic Games made it clear with their message that they are preparing for the world premiere of the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse along with the rest of the world. The developers did not disclose details, but obviously the players are waiting for a crossover with cartoon characters. Miles Morales’ Spider-Man, Gwen Stacy and other characters from the tape may appear in Fortnite.
More details from the developers of Fortnite, we will be able to get closer to the end of this month. The crossover with the new cartoon is expected to launch early next month, just in time for its release in theaters on June 1st.
