In the 12th season, the game developers presented a series of tasks called “Briefing of the Big Man”. During the test, you need to find the shelter of a secret organization. Therefore, gamers need information about where the Shadows base is located on the Fortnite map and how to get inside the caches unnoticed.
What are Shadow Bases in Fortnite
One of the tasks of the second week of the “Healthy Briefing” is to visit spy hideouts. The world of Fortnite has been taken over by 2 enemy organizations – now it is divided between agents of the “Shadow” and “Ghost”. The task of the gamer is to get to the Shadow base. But this is not so easy to do.
All hiding places are carefully guarded by spies, ready to attack at any moment.
You will have to not only seek shelter, but also bypass the traps of enemies, look for secret tunnels, hide and disguise.
Location on the map
To complete the task, you need to visit 5 caches captured by agents of the “Shadow”. They are located in different locations.
During the missions you will have to visit:
- Pleasant Park;
- Fatal Farm;
- Careless Beach;
- Lonely Lake;
- Beach Village.
Where to find Shadows bases in Fortnite
Not all shelters can be entered through the door, sometimes you need to use special tunnels. You can complete the mission faster if you know where the necessary passages are. But for 1 match, the test will not be completely completed.
Alpha
Head to Pleasant Park and find a gas station. Directly behind it is a blue toilet cubicle – a teleporting device with which you can get inside, right into the cache.
Beta
Base Beta is hidden under a gas station in a location called Fatal Farm. But getting into the cache is not so easy, because it is impossible to do it through a door or a window. Therefore, after landing in this part of the Fortnite map, head east and look for a small red brick building with a biotoilet inside. Go to the restroom and use the teleporter to be transported to the shelter.
Charlie
To complete the challenge, land at the Beach Village and head east. On the outskirts you will see a small 2-storey house with telescopes on the balcony. You can enter it through the doors.
But there is another option. Find the dumpster located in front of the building – it’s a teleporting machine. With the help of the unit, you can quickly get into the shelter, avoiding a clash with the guards.
Delta
To visit this refuge, you need to go to the Lonely Lake and move to a small island. Find a small white house. To complete the task, you do not need to make your way inside, just walk near the wall of the base. But it is guarded by agents, so try to move unnoticed.
Echo
To get into the hideout, you need to land on the Careless Shore. Head to the south side of the location. In the middle of the forest you will see an unremarkable red brick house. A distinctive feature of the base is a large satellite dish on the roof. It is better to be careful, because. the building is guarded by spies. If you don’t want to fight enemies, disguise yourself in a phone booth.
After you go around 5 caches of the “Shadow”, the task will be considered completed. Completing all the Challenges in Week 2 of the Big Guy’s Briefing will give players a chance to earn a bonus Outfit Style. Players who choose the dark side will be able to dress up the hero in a classic black suit with a ski mask that completely hides the face. If you chose to join the agents of the Ghost, then the Big Man will dress in a white jacket and trousers.
