The first episode of the game started in October 2017. Now the eighteenth episode is underway, which will last until December 5 (these are not official dates, but approximate calculations by experienced gamers).

Each episode of the game is like a new chapter of the book. New heroes, skins and items appear in the world of Fortnite. The map is also being transformed, because the creators often upgrade the area, add other locations, buildings, and even natural areas.

Gamers are offered to fully immerse themselves in the new storyline, complete quests and receive valuable prizes.

A feature of the game is that the stories of different episodes are partially interconnected. Therefore, beginners should familiarize themselves with the storylines in order.

The first

This episode was a kind of preparation for the launch of a full Royal battle. Gamers could fight each other, study the map, collect rewards. At the same time, the creators analyzed the feedback, carried out updates, changed the game, guided by the interests of users.

There was no battle pass at the time. The first stylish skins appeared in the store – Aerial Assault Troop and Renegade Raider. Costumes could only be bought with V-bucks.

Second

The episode was devoted to the theme of courageous knights, wise rulers. During this period, the Battle Pass was first introduced, which could be purchased in the store for 1800 V-bucks (some users managed to buy a promotional pass for 950).

The first set became available to gamers – the Fort Knights pack, which consisted of the skins of the Royal, Red, Black and Sinister Knights, the Blue Armiger costume, the Chekan pickaxe and the Red metallic wrapper. Dancing was also an innovation.

The third

This episode was the first to be presented with bright, graphic promotional materials. The plot was connected with space research, the discovery of new worlds. At the end of the season, a large meteorite fell on the Dusty Warehouse, which led to all the map changes in the subsequent episode.

The Battle Pass was sold in the shop for 950 V-Bucks. New interesting skins have become available to gamers, including the Lord of Rust, the Lunar Program, the Elite Agent, the Soul Killer and the most popular – the Dark Wanderer.

Fourth

At the site of the fall of the mysterious meteorite, the Treacherous Funnel was formed.

From that moment on, all the inhabitants of the Fortnite world began to have superpowers that became useful in battles.

New skins have been opened for users:

The rules for using the Battle Pass have been updated: all pass holders have access to interesting weekly quests and additional daily tasks. The Fortnite world map has also been updated with the Nightmare Cinema location and attractions such as the Open Soccer Stadium and Villain Lair.

Fifth

At the end of the fourth episode, holes in other dimensions began to appear in the structure of the universe. This season is one of the most beloved for many fans of the game.

In episode 5, a large golf course appeared on the map. Interactive games are also new. Users could find/earn balls and play golf with them. The arsenal of fighters was replenished with a double-barreled shotgun, shock grenades, guided rocket launchers and a new model of a sniper rifle. Users have the opportunity to ride a golf cart.

After updates in the game, space rifts appeared for fast movement around the map. Timed modes were first introduced and later became a permanent part of the game. The choice of skins has also expanded – such skins as Astrid, Ronin, Lifeguard, Redline, Intern, Sledgehammer, Stormtrooper and Ragnarok appeared.

Sixth

At the end of the previous episode, Sanya’s cube dissolved in the lake, but the waters of the reservoir, which became pink and elastic, pushed the mysterious island out. The runes on the cube activated and summoned scary monsters into the world of Fortnite.

This season, new locations appeared on the map, including Cornfields, Floating Island and the Haunted Castle. Pets that can be worn by Sims as decorations are a popular addition, with the addition of the Dog, Dragon, and Lizard to the store. The range of available weapons and emotions has been replenished.

New skins have been added to the game, including Dark Ranger, MC Lama, Scarlet Riding Hood, Rider, Night’s Daughter, Spooky Pumpkin, Werewolf.

Seventh

At the end of the previous episode, an iceberg appeared on the map. He collided with the island, resulting in snowy locations in the game world – Holiday Village, Polar Peak, Arctic Airfield, as well as several holiday attractions. In the same episode, interesting creative modes were added.

Gamers were also pleased with the new set of skins: the Neon Lynx, Snow Sniper, Ollie, General Frost, Yeti, Night Watcher, Prisoner, Ice Lord costumes appeared in the store.

Eighth

As a result of a natural disaster, a volcano appeared on the site of the Roaring Grove. Thanks to such changes, the climate of the game world turned from polar to tropical. Now in different locations you can see palm trees and dense tropical thickets, and gamers have to look under their feet so as not to step on a snake.

The map has changed – the Sunny Steps, the Lazy Lagoon and the Volcano appeared on it, and the location of the Playground was moved to another place.

As for the costumes, the skins of the Hybrid, Flibuster, Banana, Gorgon, Spark, Keeper of the Keys, Gorn and Sequin appeared in the store.

Ninth

In the previous season, the volcano burned almost the entire island, so climate changes in the world of Fortnite continue. To somehow help cope with the heat and dust, large fans appear all over the map. Another novelty is air pipes, with which you can quickly move around the entire map.

Interesting locations in a futuristic style appeared – the Giant Supermarket and the New Towers.

The developers have pleased the players with new interesting skins, including the Guard, Roxy, Vega, the Recluse Jonesy, Demi, Stratus and Terrible Vendetta.

Tenth

The sphere on the lake exploded, disrupting the passage of time. Some old locations have returned to the map, but new places have appeared, including the area around the meteorite and gloomy Gotham City.

Some old skins have been upgraded. New costumes have also appeared in the store, including the mysterious Eternal Wanderer and Tanuki.

Eleventh

This season has been one of the longest in the history of the game. Gamers were surprised to realize that the episode is 128 days long. Zero Point, which appeared in the previous chapter of the game, exploded, forming a black hole. The entire island was destroyed. But at the site of the explosion, a new Zero Point was formed, after which the active restoration of matter began.

A new location has appeared on the Fortnite world map – Apollo Island. The characters also received additional opportunities: after the updates, they learned to swim and fish.

New skins have been added to the store, including Climber, Fisherman, Bubble, Anesthesia, Pool, Cameo, and Synthesis.

Twelfth

The EGO has sent ghost spies to the island to investigate the map. At the same time, their rivals from Alter created a division of secret agents called “Shadow”. Since then, skirmishes between members of these two groups have begun in all locations, and Midas has arrived on the island, turning everything in its path into gold, as well as the heroes of the Marvel universe.

Thirteenth

As a result of the storm, the entire map was flooded. Fortnite has become a water world ruled by ancient deities and spirits. The main characters were Poseidon, Aquaman and other creatures that live in the water. In this episode, the flare gun first appeared, which many gamers still use today.

Fourteenth

Galactus landed on Apollo Island. To stop Black Winter, he needs to consume the world of Fortnite. The strongest Marvel heroes are trying to stop the villain. Thor, Wolverine and Groot costumes have become popular skins this season. A Midas fish appeared in the pond, which is able to improve all the player’s weapons. Users also had the opportunity to collect comic book pages to learn more about the plot.

The map has also changed – such locations as the Cemetery of the Guardians, the Park of Heroes, the Megastore and the Ruins have appeared.

Fifteenth

The Avengers managed to stop Galactus, but the villain managed to unearth Point Zero. As a result, the matter of time and space has changed again, and the past on the map is mixed with the future. Hunters from other Universes begin to arrive in the world of Fortnite to deactivate Point Zero.

This season, the collection of characters has been replenished: the skins of Condor, Lexa, Pancake, Menes, The Mandalorian, Maeve and Reese have appeared in the store.

Sixteenth

Throughout the last episode, Agent Jones jumped between universes, opening portals for hunters. But such movements destabilized Point Zero, turning it into a bomb capable of blowing up the entire world. Now the heroes have to eliminate the danger.

Skins for Agent Jones, Lara Croft, Ram, Raz, Kluck, Raven and Spire became available in this episode.

Seventeenth

This season was called the Invasion, so its entire plot is based around the theme of aliens invading the island. Part of the Fortnite map has turned into an autumn biome populated by wolves and other wild animals. Since after using the artifact near the Spire attracted the attention of an alien race, now the aliens are interested in enslaving the island.

Not only the map has undergone changes, but also the skins store. The costumes of Sunny, Kimer, Joey, Zig, Dr. Sloan, Molten Midnight, Alien Joey, Toxic Rick became available to gamers.

Eighteenth

A UFO crashed on the Fortnite map. Fragments of the flying saucer scattered around the island along with mysterious shining cubes. These formations are dangerous and capable of destroying the entire universe. Therefore, players will have to deactivate strange objects and save all the inhabitants.

New and interesting costumes have become available to players, including Charlotte, Enchanted Spirit, Cora, Shiny Fabio and Torina.
